Counter Strike Global Offensive: Bomb/Difussal
This bomb/difuse map was a project meant to utilize all I had learned from my experience with the source level editor. This project is also planned to be one of my presentations to The Game Assembly in Malmö, Sweden as a showcase of my abilities in this editor as a level designer. The map itself featured branching paths, both giving an equal amount of challenge in planting the bomb. It was my most strategically planned maps in general in fact. This map has taught me much in terms of strategic play and I plan to make many more strategic based maps in the future.
The map is a facility like structure located somewhere in barren lands away from society thus the name given. It gives the player a feeling that he is only with his team placed against another team and the final showdown for control over the facility is about to take place, right here, right now.
The map is currently listed in Steam's Workshop as well as Game Banana's CEVO Mapping Contest 2014 Maps page.

Naga Temple
Counter Strike Global Offensive: Fight Yard
This time I decided to try to make a map for a different game mode for counter strike global offensive and that choice was a "Fight Yard" map. This so far hasn't gain that much popularity as I had hoped but it is a fun map to play on according to a few of my close play testing friends. During the production of this map I decided to go hard core level designing/scripting and this map took me approximately 3 days to finish (in beta mode of course).
The theme for this map was of course a jungle theme and I decided to make my own metallic version of the largest flower in the world a.k.a rafflesia arnoldii the heart point of my level (as seen in screenshot 7). The challenge is to finish a round within a minute and a half otherwise a thick red fog will spawn and kill everyone who is still alive. This was a fun map to create however I don't think I will tackle such a game mode again since it doesn't seem to popular out on the CS:GO level market.

Facility 51
Counter Strike Global Offensive: Bomb/Difussal
This bomb/defuse map is a project that I had a lot of fun working on. I had gotten acquainted with the many different entity choices that source had to offer. I tried to focus more on a gameplay aspect for this map rather than its looks and I feel like I got just what I had worked for. The level offers several different paths for both teams and provides a unique amount of difficulty depending on whichever path you take. This project was more of an on and off level that I had worked on during the main production of Cs_Heights and now that I am finished with it I hope to gain positive feedback from the people of the online community.
The theme for this map was a secret facility somewhere high up in the mountains. The thick fog added to the mystery of this special project and plan on developing it into something more later on.
The map is currently listed in Steam's Workshop as well as Game Banana's maps page.

Heights
Counter Strike Global Offensive: Hostage Rescue
This hostage mission map takes place in a part of the big city. It's my second map made in source and I felt quite good about it during its progress. During its development I was able to get acquainted with displacements and the better uses of decals. The map is quite interesting I would say and has received fairly good feedback and criticism. It felt fun to create city themed maps as I found it to be a good beginning in my path to becoming a better level designer.
The map took place mostly within 2 buildings but being outside of the buildings gave the player a clear and nice view of the skybox city I had created. The skyscraper in the distance served as a special point which stood out amongst the other buildings around it.
The map is currently listed in Steam's Workshop as well as Game Banana's WiPs and maps page.

Warehouse
Counter Strike Global Offensive: Bomb/Diffusal
This bombing mission warehouse level was the very first map I made in the SDK. At the time I was still getting used to light placements and a few scripting options in the editor. It was quite fun to make this level and I found it to be good sdk training during the time of its development. The map is quite small for a bomb/defuse mission yet it still provides quite a good amount of challenge fun gameplay.
My first map was a simple designed warehouse somewhere in the hustle and bustle of the city. It felt like the perfect choice for a theme when I wanted to learn how the level editor worked.
The map is currently listed in Steam's Workshop as well as Game Banana's MiPs page.
