Unreal Tournament: Deathmatch
This project was started back during the beginning of April when I received an assignment to create a deathmatch themed map for Unreal Tournament which is currently in its pre alpha stage. The project served to be quite educating when it came to learning about BSP usage in this editor and how to stage different parts of the map to signify different scenarios. The map itself may seem symmetrical in its layout but rest assured there is much to be discovered in the different parts of the map. This project took 2 weeks to complete and helped me understand level designing in the unreal tournament editor to a certain degree.
The map is themed as a high tech alienated arena that pits opponents very close to one another thus leading to almost instantaneous combat. The text in the map that states "Facility 7" serves only as a sort of easter egg hinting to my constant creations of facility based maps when it came to making maps for CS:GO.

Karnage Docks
3D Side Scroller
This side scrolling map was my very first project done in the Unreal Development Kit. I had of course played around with the level editor before I made this however seeing as this was one of the first UDK maps it holds a special place in my bubble of ambition. I had played around with the source code and got it to work basically making the camera follow the right side of the player at a certain distance. There was of course a few trial and error but in the end I had finally gotten what I wanted. This map features many custom textures and a few custom props by a great artist who goes by the alias "Nobiax". Without his help, I would have never gotten this level to look the way it does now.
This level is supposed to be a carrier ship flying over a futuristic city. It was planned to have another part which takes place on top of the carrier but the project was cancelled ever since I lost the source files.
The maps files were sadly lost after I had upgraded my stationary computer and forgot to copy over the files.
However you can view Nobiax's work in the link below and maybe get a little inspiration yourself if you one day want to work on a level in the UDK.
